Money Investment

I found an article my cousin posted on his website that was very helpful in being prepared for crisis.  It talks about creating a "nest egg" in case there is a "bank holiday", like there was in the great depression.  I would go one step further and say that it's a good idea to potentially invest into basic survival items.  Think about it, when in a time of crisis and money has little to no value, having basic survival tools will become invaluable.  It would be wise to invest in these things.  I mean if we are talking something as extreme as a full out zombie apocalypse things like knives, rope, lighters, canned goods, and flashlights would be of most value.  I'm just spouting off now but, the article is worth reading.

Read it here!

  1. So Gorges is your cousin. That's pretty neat. He writes some great articles. Good to "meet" you. I am a minister as well (though a good bit older than you I think :).

Please visit Family Fountain if you get a chance.

  2. Sorry for the confusion Warren. My cousin read Gorges article and linked it on his blog. I then went to Gorges blog and read it. I am so sorry for the mix up.

Here's my cousins blog with the linked article:

  3. Hey "cousin," thanks for the indirect plug. Incidentally, I reckon all of us this side of Noah ARE cousins!

  4. You need to preach preparedness. "It is better to trust in God than to trust in princes" and trusting in the Lord is listening to the signs He sends you. Glad you reposted this. Gorges is a believer. I like that guy.:)

  5. I agree, but I don't want to get carried away with always being prepared in everything all the time. I want to be a good steward with the responsibilities I have but also leave room for God to work through needs that I have as well. I am a fan of Gorges too!
